This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies this website places on your device, why, and how you can manage your choices. It follows the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the Turkish Data Protection Authority's guidance on cookies, and is written with the EU ePrivacy and GDPR rules in mind for visitors from Europe.

Analytics cookies: this site does not currently run any analytics tool. If one is added, this policy will be updated and analytics cookies will run only with your consent.
Third-party content without cookies
The illustrative photos in the blog are loaded from Unsplash's image servers (images.unsplash.com). To our knowledge these servers set no cookies, but your IP address and browser details necessarily reach them so the image can be delivered. The "Directions" link takes you to Google Maps, which opens on Google's own site only when you click it.
Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to work and to remember your choices; they rely on KVKK art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f (legitimate interest) and cannot be switched off.
- External media cookies, and any analytics cookies added later, run only with your explicit consent under KVKK art. 5/1. Declining does not stop you using the site; the videos simply will not play inside it.
Managing your choices
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose categories one by one. "Accept" and "Reject" are equally easy to reach and no category is pre-selected.
You can change your decision at any time: . The same link is in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, the banner will appear on every visit.
Transfers abroad
If you allow external media and play a video, data may be transferred to servers abroad because the video service is provided by Google. This transfer relies on your explicit consent under KVKK art. 9, which you can withdraw from the settings at any time.

Changes
When the cookies used on the site change, this policy is updated and the date at the top is renewed. If a new cookie category is added, the banner will be shown to you again.
