The 33rd edition of the Isokinetic Football Medicine Conference, one of the most important sports medicine meetings of the year, was held in Athens under the theme "Return to Performance". Organised with the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence network, it was a meeting full of passion and expertise.
In the session "Hip and groin injuries: from diagnosis to return to play", Prof. Safa Gürsoy gave a talk on new trends in hip arthroscopy for the football player and shared knowledge with some of Europe's leading hip preservation surgeons.
Our thanks go to Dr. Della Villa and his team for the extraordinary organisation and kind invitation. The next meeting will be in Milan in 2027.
